With less than a day remaining for the Pran Pratishtha ceremony at Ayodhya Ram temple, ISRO's National Remote Sensing Centre (NRSC) has shared stunning visuals of the temple, River Sarayu as well as other landmarks in the city.
This image was captured by the country's indigenous satellites.
The photo showing the 2.7 acre Ram temple site, the Dashrath Mahal and the renovated Ayodhya Dham Railway Station were captured by the remote sensing satellites on December 16, 2023. In the image, River Sarayu can be seen flowing on one side of the city.
New images are not available and this is partially due to dense fog in the region.
In 2021, two Google Earth images showing the Ayodhya Ram temple site were released. The first one showed the temple site before the foundation was laid and the second one showed the site after the foundation work was done.
The latest December 2023 photo released by ISRO shows the under-construction temple.
