Prime Minister Narendra Modi will wind up his three-day Tamil Nadu visit on Sunday after prayers in Sri Kothandarama Swamy Temple at Dhanushkodi. The Prime Minister visited Arichalmunai, which is said to be the place from where the Ram Setu was built, on Sunday morning.
After offering floral tributes at the seashore, the PM also did 'pranayama' (breathing exercise). He also offered prayers using the sea water. Modi, who stayed at Rameswaram overnight, drove to Arichalmunai, which is said to be the place from where the Ram Setu was built. He also laid flowers on the beach and paid floral tributes at a pillar erected there with the national emblem.

According to officials, the Prime Minister will perform pooja and darshan at Sri Kothandarama Swamy temple, officials said. Heoffered prayers at the Sri Ranganathaswamy and Arulmigu Ramanathaswamy temples in Srirangam and Rameswaram on Saturday.
Before that, Modi visited temples Andhra Pradesh's historic Veerabhadra temple, which has immense significance with its Jatayu episode and Thriprayar Sree Ramaswamy Temple in Kerala's Thrissur - part of a pilgrimage to the abodes of Lord Ram and his brothers.
His visit to the Tamil Nadu temples with a Ramayana connection comes just ahead of the consecration of the grand Shri Ram temple at Ayodhya in Uttar Pradesh on Monday.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi will arrive at Ayodhya to preside over the ‘pran pratishtha’ ceremony on Monday.
He will arrive at the Ayodhya Airport by 10:25 am. From the airport, he will take a chopper to the Ram Janambhoomi premises. The Prime Minister will explore the Ram Janambhoomi premises till 12 am.
The ‘Pran Pratishtha’ rituals will begin at 12:05 pm. PM Modi to leave the consecration ceremony venue at 1 pm for a public ceremony. After the public event, he will visit the Kuber Teela at 2:10 pm.
