Vice President Jagdeep Dhankhar will attend the annual Mahashivratri event at the Isha Yoga Centre in Coimbatore on March 8.
The night-long celebrations will see immersive meditations guided by Sadhguru, celebratory music, and enthralling dance performances, the Isha Foundation said.
Renowned artists like Shankar Mahadevan, Gurdas Maan, Pawandeep Rajan, Rathijith Bhattacharjee, Mahalingam, Mooralal Marwada, rappers like Brodha V, Paradox, MC Heam, Dharavi Project, French musicians, Sounds of Isha, and Isha Samskriti will perform on the stage.
The festivities will kick off with the Pancha Bhuta Aradhana at Dhyanalinga—a yogic process of elemental cleansing—followed by the Linga Bhairavi Maha Yatra, Sadhguru's discourse, meditations, and the Adiyogi Divya Darshanam, the Foundation said.
The event will be broadcast on Sadhguru’s YouTube channels and major media networks from 6 pm on March 8 to 6 am on March 9 in 22 languages worldwide.
In 2023, with a staggering 140 million live viewers, Isha Mahashivratri had emerged as the largest and most-watched spiritual festival globally.
