The Lawrence Bishnoi gang members who plotted an attack on actor Salman Khan had conducted a recce and were also planning to use minors, Navi Mumbai police said.

The police on Saturday arrested four persons of the Lawrence Bishnoi gang for allegedly plotting an attack on the actor. According to police, the accused had done a recce of Salman Khan's house and farmhouse. One of the accused, Ajay Kashyap, contacted a person named Dogar in Pakistan through a video call and weapons like AK-47 were ordered from Pakistan to attack Salman Khan, police said.

The Navi Mumbai police arrested four members of the gang- Dhananjay alias Ajay Kashyap, Gaurav Bhatia alias Nahvi, Waspi Khan alias Wasim Chikna and Rizwan Khan alias Javed Khan on Saturday for plotting the attack. Police have registered a case against 17 persons including Lawrence Bishnoi, Anmol Bishnoi, Sampat Nehra and Goldy Brar, ANI reported.

According to police, they have received information that 60-70 boys of Lawrence Bishnoi and Sampat Nehra's gang from Mumbai, Raigad, Navi Mumbai, Thane, Pune and Gujarat were watching Salman Khan. After the attack, the attackers were planning to escape to Sri Lanka in a boat from Kanyakumari, ANI reported.
