All the exit polls on Saturday predicted a clear majority for the NDA, which means Narendra Modi is poised to become Prime Minister for the third term. The average of 12 exit polls said NDA will claim around 366 seats, INDIA around 145 and Others around 28.
Only three exit polls predicted "400 paar" for the BJP-led National Democratic Alliance (NDA) Today's Chanakya claimed the ruling coalition will grab up to 415 seats while India TV-CNX and India Today-My Axis India surveys said it will win up to 401 constituencies. Two exit polls said the alliance will win under 350 seats with TV9 Bharatvarsh-Polstrat predicting 342 and Dainik Bhaskar claiming 285 to 350.

For INDIA bloc, the only survey that predicted 200-above was Dainik Bhaskar, which said the Opposition will get 145 to 201 seats. Exits polls that predicted under-150 for the Congress-led alliance were India News-D-Dynamics (125), Republic Bharat-Matrize (118-133), India TV-CNX (109-139) and Today's Chanakya (96-118).
Four exit polls that came in the initial hour were the surveys done by India News-D-Dynamics, Jan Ki Baat, Republic Bharat-Matrize and Republic TV- P MARQ.
India News-D-Dynamics predicted 371 seats for NDA, 125 for the INDIA bloc and 47 for Others. Jan Ki Baat survey said NDA will claim 362 to 392 seats while INDIA will bag 141 to 161 seats and Others 10 to 20.
Republic Bharat-Matrize predicted that NDA will clinch 353 to 368 seats and INDIA 118 to 133. Others were likely to win 43 to 48 seats. Republic TV-P MARQ exit poll calculated 359 seats for NDA, 154 for INDIA and 30 for Others.
Other pollsters who came up with the surveys in the following hours included Dainik Bhaskar, India TV-CNX, India Today-My Axis India, Times Now-ETG and ABP News-C Voter.
Dainik Bhaskar predicted 285 to 350 seats for NDA, 145 to 201 for INDIA and 33 to 49 for Others. India TV-CNX said NDA will grab 371-401 seats, INDIA 109-139 and Others 28 to 38. India Today-My Axi India poll predicted 361 to 401 seats for NDA, 131 to 166 for INDIA and 8 to 20 for Others.
Times Now-ETG said NDA is poised to win 358 seats, INDIA 152 and Others 33. ABP News-C Voter survey polled 353 to 383 seats for NDA, 152 to 182 for INDIA and 4 to 12 for Others.
Exit polls that came in late were Today's Chanakya, TV9 Bharatvarsh-Polstrat and News Nation surveys. Today's Chanakya numbers gave 385 to 415 seats to NDA, 96 to 118 for INDIA and 27 to 45 for Others. TV9 Bharatvarsh-Polstrat predicted 342 for NDA, 166 for INDIA and 35 for Others. News Nation poll said NDA is likely to win 342 to 378 seats, INDA 153 to 169 and Others 21 to 23.
