Two Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT) terrorists, including a commander of the outfit, were killed in an encounter with security forces in Pulwama district of Jammu and Kashmir on Monday.
The deceased were identified as Riyaz Dar and Rayees Dar.
According to reports, Riyaz Dar was a "commander" of the LeT and was wanted in several terror cases.
The security forces had launched a cordon and search operation in the Nihama area of the district on Sunday evening after receiving inputs about the presence of terrorists.
During the search, the militants opened fire at the forces and in the ensuing gun battled, two terrorists were killed.
Police said the operation is still going on.
