YSR Congress Party leader and former Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Jagan Mohan Reddy slammed the state government for demolishing their under-construction party office alleging irregularities.

Alleging vendetta, Jagan said the party office was demolished disregarding High Court’s orders. According to a YSRCP statement, the demolition commenced around 5.30am on Saturday. “The demolition proceeded even though the YSRCP had approached the High Court the previous day (Friday), challenging the preliminary actions of the CRDA (Capital Region Development Authority)," said the statement.

YSRCP noted that the court had ordered a halt to any demolition activity, which was conveyed to the CRDA commissioner by a party lawyer, but the authority still went ahead and demolished the structure. According to YSRCP, CRDA's action amounts to contempt of court.

Condemning the state government’s actions, Jagan tweeted, “A dictator bulldozed the nearly completed @YSRCParty central office at Tadepalli. The orders of the High Court were ignored. Law and justice have completely disappeared in the state.”

The YSRCP leader said through the actions, Naidu has sent out a clear message about how the regime is going to be for these five years. Jagan said the party will continue to fight for the people. “I request all the democrats of the country to condemn the misdeeds of Chandrababu,” he said.
