Prajwal Revanna's brother and JD(S) MLC Suraj Revanna, a medical doctor, was booked in a second case of sexually abusing a man on Tuesday at Hassan district's Holenarasipura police station.
The case was registered based on a complaint filed by Suraj's former close aide who alleged that he was sexually abused by the MLC three years ago during the pandemic. The charges slapped on former Prime Minister H.D. Deve Gowda's grandson include IPC Sections 377 (unnatural offences), 342 (wrongful confinement) and 506 (criminal intimidation).

Interestingly, the former close aide had earlier filed a complaint on Suraj's behalf against the party worker who was the first one to accuse the JDS leader of unnatural sex.
The first case of sexual assault againt Suraj was lodged on Saturday night. On Sunday, he was arrested and remanded to a 14-day judicial custody while the following day, the court remanded him to an eight-days police custody.

Suraj's mother Bhavani Revanna and father H.D. Revanna are out on bail after being accused of kidnapping their former house help.
His younger brother, Prajwal who was a former JDS MP, was booked in a fourth case on Monday under charges of sexual harassment, stalking and criminal intimidation of a victim. He is also charged with secretly recording and circulating images of the victim. The three previous cases against Prajwal were registered under sexual assault charges.
