Tamil Nadu government is determined to find those guilty of Bahujan Samajwadi Party leader K. Armstrong’s murder and ensure they are punished, Chief Minister M.K. Stalin said on Tuesday.

Stalin along with Minister for Hindu Religious and Charitable Endowments P.K. Sekar Babu and party leaders visited the residence of Armstrong on Tuesday and paid floral tributes to his portrait. Stalin condoled Armstrong’s wife Porkodi and assured the guilty won’t be spared.

Stalin tweeted, “Assured Porkodi that those involved in the murder will be brought before law and ensure severe punishment to them. The Tamil Nadu government is determined to ensure punishment to those behind the murder.” Stalin added this is a government for all police will act without bias.

Armstrong, the state president of BSP was hacked to death near his residence in Chennai on July 5 by a motorcycle-borne gang and at least 11 suspects have been arrested in connection with the case. Police suspect it was a ‘revenge murder’.
