Prime Minister Narendra Modi stressed that a unified and robust collaboration between the central and state governments is crucial to achieving the vision of 'Viksit Bharat'. He also emphasised the need for a coordinated effort to drive progress and development.
PM was addressing the 13 chief ministers and 15 deputy chief ministers from BJP-ruled states on the concluding session of the two-day meeting, 'Mukhyamantri Parishad' held at BJP headquarters in Delhi.
Modi also urged the CMs to use social media to ensure the maximum reach of government schemes targeting different groups.
Top BJP leaders including Defence Minister Rajnath Singh, Home Minister Amit Shah and J.P. Nadda participated in the meeting.
Various states presented some of their signature schemes during the meeting.
"Our Party is working tirelessly to further good governance and fulfil the aspirations of the people," said Modi.
The agenda for the meeting also included the analysis of the Lok Sabha Elections 2024, and formulating strategies for upcoming assembly elections.
The states were asked to utilise the funds allocated to them, and not make tweaks to them. Also, Modi had specifically asked CMs to focus on the complete implementation of schemes and the utilisation of funds and work in tandem with the centre.
Uttar Pradesh CM Yogi Adityanath, Assam CM Himanta Biswa Sarma, Rajasthan CM Bhajanlal Sharma, Gujarat CM Bhupendra Patel and Maharashtra Deputy CM Devendra Fadnavis were some of the CMs, who took part in the meeting.
