Several hospitals in Rajasthan, especially Jaipur, got bomb threats via email on Sunday early morning. Received around 7 am on Sunday, the threat mails allegedly said bombs were hidden under the hospital beds and in bathrooms.

Bomb squads were sent immediately to the hospitals after they were alerted and a probe is underway, said police. The emailed bomb threat read, "Hi, I place bombs in the Hospital Building... Every person inside the building will be killed or will lose limbs. None of you will escape."

It went on to claim, "You will all end up in a pool of blood, you all deserve nothing but death," adding that "The Terrorists 'Ching and Cultist' are behind this MASSACRE."

This comes a day after two malls in the National Capital Region received emails about bomb threats. DLF Mall of India in Noida Sector 18 and Ambience Mall in Gurugram were evacuated following the threats but police did not find anything suspicious and was later revealed to be a hoax.

The email read, "You deserve death. I planted the bombs in the building because I hate my life. The people behind this attack are Paige and Nora."

On Saturday at 11.59 am, InOrbit mall in Navi Mumbai's Vashi was vacated after getting a hoax bomb threat.

The threat e-mail stated, "Hello there, I planted bombs in the building every person inside the building will be kill (sic)".

The mall was evacuated but a joint team of the Bomb Detection and Disposal Squad, ATS officials, Fire Brigade personnel and police did not find a bomb. The search was called off around 2.50 pm following which the mall reopened around 3 pm.

On May 1, around 100 schools in the Delhi-NCR region received bomb threats via email following which several schools had to stop their exams midway and the students were sent home. On April 30, Chacha Nehru Hospital in Delhi's Shahdara also got a similar threat while a day before that, Raja Bhoj International Airport in Bhopal, Dabolim airport in Goa, Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose International Airport in Kolkata and the Jaipur International Airport received bomb threats.

In February, a hoax bomb threat was mailed to the Delhi Public School in R.K. Puram. In May 2023, the Delhi Public School on Mathura Road had got a hoax bomb threat via email.
