Apart from sexually harassing many servants at the Holenarsipura residence of the Revanna family, suspended Janata Dal (Secular) leader and former Lok Sabha MP Prajwal Revanna also targeted women hired by his brother Suraj. The shocking revelations of sexual crimes committed by Prajwal Revanna were revealed after the Special Investigative Team (SIT) submitted the charge sheet against him before the Special Court of Electoral Representatives.

Prajwal Revanna followed his modus operandi of using videos of sexual assault to blackmail the survivors with a woman housemaid serving Suraj as well, the charge sheet said. The said incident reportedly happened in 2021 when Prajwal raped the woman, 10 years older than him, and filmed it on his mobile phone.
The survivor and her husband were hired by Suraj in 2018 as domestic helpers, The South First said in a report. They were residing in Suraj's Gannikoda farmhouse in Mulekalenahalli village in Holenarsipura, the report said.

Prajwal Revanna often visisted his brother's farmhouse. According to the charge sheet, he asked the woman to get him a glass of water as he sat inside a room on the first floor of the farmhouse. When the woman arrived with water, he locked the door from inside and raped her. Prajwal reportedly filmed the sexual offence on his mobile phone and threatened to send it to the son of the survivor if she ever spoke about it.
Fearing for the worst, the woman remained silent for many years until the allegations against the 33-year-old exploded during the Lok Sabha elections.

The SIT said that the woman had to fend off further attempts of sexual advances by Prajwal during his visit to the farmhouse. She was, however, assaulted by him when she had to go to Bengaluru to work at a house owned by HD Revanna, the report said.
Son of party MLA HD Revanna, Prajwal Revanna is facing charges of rape and sexual harassment in multiple cases. The cases of sexual abuse came to light after pen drives containing explicit videos allegedly involving Prajwal Revanna were reportedly circulated in Hassan, ahead of Lok Sabha polls there on April 26. The JD(S) suspended him from the party following the cases filed against him.
JD(S) MLC Suraj Revanna, a medical doctor, was earlier booked for sexually abusing a man. The grandson of former Prime Minister H D Deve Gowda, Suraj was charged for allegedly sodomising a party worker a few days ago at his farmhouse. The case was registered based on a complaint filed by Suraj's former close aide who alleged that he was sexually abused by the MLC three years ago during the pandemic. The charges slapped on former Prime Minister H.D. Deve Gowda's grandson include IPC Sections 377 (unnatural offences), 342 (wrongful confinement) and 506 (criminal intimidation).
Prajwal Revanna has been charged under multiple sections of the IPC and the Information Technology (IT) Act. He has been booked IPC’s section 376(2)(k) — rape by a person in a position of control or dominance over a woman, Section 354(A) — sexual harassment, Section 354(B) — assault or use of criminal force with intent to disrobe a woman, Section 354(C) — voyeurism, Section 506 — criminal intimidation and Section 376(2) — repeated rape of the same woman, among others.
