A juice stall owner and a juvenile were detained in Uttar Pradsh’s Ghaziabad after the police received complaints that he mixed human urine in his products. Policemen who searched the premises of his juice outlet found a can filled with urine, reports said.

The owner of the juice stall was identifed as 29-year-old Aamir. According to the police, Aamir claimed that he was forced to relieve himself in a plastic can while working. There were no quarters nearby to urinate, forcing him to use the can. However, the UP Police were not satisifed with the response and detained him along with a 15-year-old boy.

The UP Police on Saturday said that a case was registered against Aamir based on the complaint lodged by Bajrang Dal member Manish Suryavanshi and his associates under sections 272 (malignant act to spread infection of disease dangerous to life), 274 (adulteration of food or drink intended for sale) and 275 (sale of noxious food or drink) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS).
