Liquor policy case: A day after release, Kejriwal visits Hanuman temple

Kejriwal was released from Tihar prison on Friday after Supreme Court granted him bail in liquor policy case

Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal visited Lord Hanuman temple in  Connaught Place to offer prayers on Saturday. Kejriwal was released on bail from Tihar prison on Friday after the Supreme Court granted him bail in cases related to the alleged scam in Delhi liquor policy.

The Aam Aadmi Party leader visited the temple along with his wife Sunita, former deputy Manish Sisodia and AAP leaders Sanjay Singh and Saurabh Bharadwaj. Kejriwal also visited Rajghat and paid tributes to Mahatma Gandhi’s memorial.

Addressing AAP workers and leaders outside Tiharjailon Friday, Kejriwal said, “Prisons cannot break me…My morale has been boosted 100 times. My strength has increased 100 times. Every drop of my blood is dedicated to the nation...even when faced with so many difficulties God has always been with me. Will continue fighting anti-national forces working to weaken our country.”

The Supreme Court granted the AAP leader bail on Friday considering the trial in the prevention corruption case registered by the Central Bureau of Investigation will not complete in the near future. He was granted bail in a connected money laundering case earlier.
