The Bihar government in association with the state Fisheries Department, organised an exhibition in Amarpur of Saharsa. The chief guest was none other than Chief Minister Nitish Kumar himself, who, on Friday arrived at the venue and inaugurated a biofloc tank set up for breeding fish...
Then happened the unexpected. Bihar Police personnel and government officials stood shocked and helpless as locals dived into the biofloc tank, minutes after the chief minister left the exhibition ground, to snatch as many fish as possible. There was not going to be an exhibition or breeding and the fishes didn't live to see another day!
