Congress leader Kumari Selja said the Bharatiya Janata Party is ready to welcome her as the party is weak in Haryana. Selja said Congress will win the assembly polls in Haryana and the party high command will decide on who will be the chief minister.

Addressing presspersons after casting her vote at a polling booth in Hisar, Selja said, “Today's fight will change the fate of Haryana. Although this is a one-sided contest, the BJP is ready to welcome me because they are already very weak. They will do anything to have strong leaders with them. We will win all 90 seats,” NDTV reported.

Selja added Congress candidates will win with huge margin this election. “Ever since Rahul Gandhi's Bharat Jodo Yatra, the atmosphere in the state has been in our favour. 10 years of misrule by the BJP has got people wanting to get rid of them from power,” ANI reported quoting Selja. She added the party’s high command will decide the chief minister post results.
Haryana assembly polls
Polling for all the 90 assembly seats in Haryana began this morning and brisk polling has been reported at all polling booths. Over 22 per cent polling was recorded till 11am in the state. While the BJP is hoping it will win a third term, Congress is hoping to return to power in the state after a gap of 10 years.
Among the districts, Ambala recorded a poll percentage of 25.50, Bhiwani 23.45, Charkhi Dadri 20.10, Faridabad 20.39, Fatehabad 24.73, Gurugram 17.05, Hisar 24.69, Jhajjar 23.48, Jind 27.20, Kaithal 22.21, Karnal 24.85, Kurukshetra 23.90, Mewat 25.65, Palwal 27.94, Panipat 22.62, Rewari 21.49, Rohtak 22.91 and Sonipat 18.84, PTI reported.
