The Karnataka High Court directed the state government to submit actor Darshan Thoogudeepa’s medical records while hearing his bail plea in the Renukaswamy murder case on Tuesday. A sessions court in Bengaluru denied Darshan bail last week.

The actor sought bail to undergo a surgery as he is suffering from spine-related ailments. Hearing the plea, Karnataka High Court Justice S. Vishwajit Shetty directed the state government to submit his medical records during the next hearing, on October 28.  Darshan’s counsel argued that the actor was undergoing treatment for spine-related ailments at the prison hospital.
