Mumbai police have informed UP police about the death threat. Efforts are on to find the culprit. UP police are also on high alert.
Baba Siddique was shot dead outside his son and MLA Zeeshan Siddique's office on October 12. The deceased leader had Y category security but his security cover was not enough to save his life. Police have arrested 15 people in the case.
Lawrence Bishnoi's gang is believed to be behind Siddique's killing. The gang allegedly claimed that Siddique was killed for helping Salman Khan, who was accused in the 1998 blackbuck poaching case.
The Bishnoi community considers blackbucks sacred and the alleged killing of two blackbucks has resulted in enmity towards the Bollywood actor.
