Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Sunday addressed an election rally in Jharkhand's Bokaro, alleging that the Congress-JMM alliance wanted to divide OBCs.

Modi claimed that when there was no unity between OBCs, tribals and Dalits, the Congress kept forming governments at the Centre and they pitted sub-castes against each other.

Slamming the alleged evil designs and conspiracies of the Congress and JMM, Modi said they could go to any extent to grab power.

The PM said there are more than 125 sub-castes under OBC category in the Chotanagpur region and the Congress-JMM alliance wants to break this unity by pitting Yadav against Kurmi and Sonar against Lohar. I warn you, 'Be united to be safe'," he added.

Modi also slammed the Congress and its allies for trying to reinstate Article 370 in Jammu and Kashmir, claiming they want the soldiers to face the fire of terrorism and do not want Ambedkar's Constitution in the state.

The PM said it was the first time that the chief minister of Jammu and Kashmir took oath in the name of the Indian Constitution and this was his tribute to Ambedkar.

Claiming that only a BJP-led government can drive out infiltrators from Jharkhand and put an end to corruption in the state, Modi said, "You are hankering for a handful of sand, they are smuggling it and earning crores.”

The PM said the recruitment mafia and paper leak mafia allegedly created by the JMM-led government will be imprisoned.

Modi said those who opposed the creation of Jharkhand cannot develop it. "We created Jharkhand and will give shape to it," he added.

The PM alleged when the Congress was ruling in the state and the Centre from 2004 to 2014, Jharkhand got just Rs 80,000 crore. But the BJP-led Centre gave more than Rs 3 lakh crore to Jharkhand, he claimed.

Modi added that 50 railway stations are being modernised in Jharkhand and the Bokaro airport will be become operational soon. "It is my dream to ensure that those who wear slippers and are poor travel by air," he said.
