Maharashtra, Jharkhand Assembly elections exit polls today. When and where to watch

The EC norms stipulate that the exit poll predictions can be published only after 6:30 pm

The exit poll predictions of Maharastra and Jharkhand Assembly Elections will be out after the voting ends in both states. According to the Election Commission of India guidelines, the exit poll predictions can be published only after 6:30 pm.

One prominent poll predictor is Pradeep Gupta, who will release his firm Axis My India's predictions around 6:30 pm. The results will be streamed on the firm's YouTube channel.

Another firm C-Voter will release its predictions through the YouTube channel of the respective TV channel and the YouTube channel of TheRedMike.

Maharashtra

Voting began at 7 am in 288 seats across the state where the ruling BJP-led Mahayuti alliance is fighting Maha Vikas Aghadi (MVA) combine. The votes will be counted on November 23. Over 9.7 crore voters will be choosing from among the 4,136 candidates in the fray.

In the Mahayuti alliance, the BJP is contesting 149 seats, Shiv Sena is in the fray in 81 seats, and the Ajit Pawar-led NCP has fielded candidates in 59 constituencies. In the opposition's MVA combine, the Congress has fielded 101 candidates, Shiv Sena (UBT) 95, and NCP (SP) has put up 86 candidates. 

Jharkhand

The second phase of Jharkhand Assembly elections will see voting in 38 Assembly seats, where 528 candidates will seek a mandate. The prominent names in the fray in the second phase include Chief Minister and JMM leader Hemant Soren, his wife Kalpana Soren and Leader of Opposition Amar Kumar Bauri of the BJP.

In Jharkhand, the NDA takes on the INDIA bloc, a coalition led by JMM and Congress.
