The duo was accused of allegedly tampering with evidence and delaying the FIR in the rape and murder case.
The bail was granted as the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) failed to file a chargesheet within the mandatory 90 days.
The Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate (ACJM) granted the bail on a surety bond of Rs 2,000 each and on the condition that the accused would have to appear before the CBI whenever they are called by the central agency.

The CBI in the court said that the investigation against the accused in the rape and murder case is still ongoing.
The development also came as senior lawyer Vrinda Grover decided not to represent the RG Kar Medical College rape-murder victim's family.
However, Ghosh, who is in judicial custody in another case related to the alleged financial irregularities at RG Kar Medical College and Hospital, is likely to remain behind bars.
Ghosh was accused of allegedly destroying the evidence in the case, while Mondal was accused of alleged delay in filing the FIR.
