Maharashtra: 39 ministers join Devendra Fadnavis cabinet; here’s full list

In the Maharashtra cabinet expansion, BJP got 19 ministerial berths, while Eknath Shinde-led Shiv Sena and Ajit Pawar’s NCP got 11 and 9 berths respectively

The much-awaited BJP-led Mahayuti alliance ministry in Maharashtra expanded its cabinet at Nagpur on Sunday. A total of 39 ministers were sworn in, taking its strength to 42. 

In the expansion, BJP got 19 ministerial berths, followed by 11 for Eknath Shinde-led Shiv Sena and 9 for Ajit Pawar's Nationalist Congress Party. 

The new cabinet includes state BJP chief Chandrashekhar Bawankule and Mumbai BJP president Ashish Shelar.
