From January 3rd to 6th Sonia Vihar Water Sports Club would transform into a vibrant arena with over 800 athletes from all over the country.
Kaushal Kumar, the vice president of Sonia Vihar Water Sports Club said about the event, “The competition is not just about the race.”
Personalities like Atishi Marlena and Lieutenant Governor Vinay Kumar Saxena are expected to witness the strength, unity and determination of the athletes from every corner of the country. The event is going to be even bigger with over 20 teams competing in 4 exciting categories: 200 meters, 300 meters, 600 meters, and the intense 1 and 2 kilometres.
The competition is structured to include senior men, senior women, and senior mixed teams competing in D10 and D20 events.
The Delhi State Kayaking and Canoeing Association under the Indian Kayaking and Canoeing Association (IKCA) have ensured the stakes will be higher and the excitement even more notable.
As the boats line up with the drum beats echoing across the serene waters will send a shockwave of energy as Kaushal said, “The race won’t be a just a test of strength, it will be a celebration of the spirit of the sport, of passion, and the fierce will to win.”
