As the campaign gets heated up ahead of Delhi Assembly election, AAP supremo Arvind Kejriwal alleged alliance between Congress and the BJP. Kejriwal on Saturday urged both the parties to openly declare their alliance.
Taking a dig at Congress, Kejriwal said barring a few mediapersons, people had stopped taking the party "seriously".
He alleged "behind-the-scenes" collaboration between two parties for the assembly polls.
The AAP-Congress alliance, both partners in the opposition INDIA bloc, suffered a major setback after two sides failed to seal an alliance for the Haryana polls.
Meanwhile, AAP has also demanded action against senior Congress leader Ajay Maken for allegedly calling Kejriwal "anti-national".
While attacking the BJP, Kejriwal said that the party had no chief ministerial face or agenda and its leaders are trying to win the Delhi polls by abusing him in the absence of any achievement that they could talk about.
"We are presenting our track record of 10 years and our plan for the next five while the BJP offers nothing but abuses," said Kejriwal.
Delhi elections are slated to be held in February.
Congress has fielded Sandeep Dikshit against Kejriwal in the upcoming elections. At the same time, the BJP has fielded Parvesh Verma.
While daring Kejriwal, Verma said that he hopes that the former Delhi chief minister won't "run away" from the seat.
"I want to take all the people of Delhi to see Sheesh Mahal. I am writing a letter to CM Atishi to open the doors of Sheesh Mahal because the people of Delhi want to see what happened to the tax they paid...I just hope Arvind Kejriwal doesn't run away from the New Delhi seat," Verma told ANI.
Former BJP MP Verma represented the West Delhi Lok Sabha constituency from 2014 till 2024.
