As Bollywood actor Saif Ali Khan is recuperating at a Mumbai hospital after undergoing surgery, his staff shared shocking details of the attack that took place at his Bandra residence in the early morning on Thursday.
The Bandra police in their First Information Report (FIR) claimed that the attack took place at 2.30 am when the actor’s family and staff were fast asleep.
His staff reportedly told police that the armed intruder first entered the room where Khan’s four-year-old son Jeh was sleeping.
Eliyama Philip, a 56-year-old nurse claimed the attacker demanded Rs 1 crore and when she resisted, he assaulted her, reported the Times of India. Philip suffered injuries on her wrist and hand.

Junu, a nanny, woke up hearing the commotion and triggered an alarm. Khan, who arrived at the scene along with his wife and actor Kareena Kapoor, confronted the attacker, but was injured seriously in the clash.
The assailant escaped through the staircase before more people arrived. Khan sustained injuries on his neck, shoulder and spine while his staff member, Geeta, also suffered minor injuries.
Police are examining the CCTV footage which clearly shows the intruder’s face. He is seen wearing a brown collared t-shirt and red scarf or 'gamcha' while descending the stairs on the sixth floor of the building.
Police are treating this as a case of armed robbery and assault and have formed multiple teams for investigation.
The actor, meanwhile, underwent surgery at the Lilavati Hospital where doctors removed a 2.5-inch piece of knife from his spine.
The hospital said Khan has been shifted to the Intensive Care Unit and in a day or two he will be shifted to the ward.
