IB opens doors to 995 new Intelligence Officers

The Intelligence Bureau, under the Ministry of Home Affairs, is currently offering job opportunity for the post of Assistant Central Intelligence Officer Grade-II/ Executive. This is a direct recruitment process, and a total of 995 vacancies are available.

To be eligible for this position, candidates must possess a degree or an equivalent qualification. Computer knowledge is desirable but not mandatory. The age limit for applicants is between 18 and 27 years. However, there are certain relaxations in the upper age limit for SC/ST and OBC candidates, as well as other eligible individuals as per statutory regulations.

Selected candidates will be placed in General Central Service, Group C (Non Gazetted, Non Ministerial) positions.

Salary: Level 7 (44,900–1,42,400).

Fees for males in General, EWS, and OBC categories are 550 rupees. This fee includes an examination fee of 100 rupees and a recruitment processing charge of 450 rupees. For individuals belonging to other categories, a recruitment processing charge of 450 rupees is sufficient. The fees can be paid both online and offline.

The selection process for the Assistant Central Intelligence Officer Grade II/Executive position involves a written test and an interview. Interested candidates can apply online on or before the 15th of December.
