World Health Organisation (WHO) chief Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus on Saturday shared a video of his narrow escape from the Israeli attack on Yemen on Thursday.
"We faced a very dangerous attack, but my @UN colleagues and I are now safe. We successfully evacuated our wounded colleague to Amman, and he is stable...I am on my way back to Geneva," wrote the WHO chief.

Ghebreyesus also thanked his colleagues, friends and everyone who wished him well during the ordeal in the past few days.
"I'm especially grateful to the colleagues and airport staff, who were selfless as they tried to protect me...my heart goes out to our colleagues on the front lines and the civilians who face such danger every day," he said.
In the video released, Ghebreyesus can be seen sitting on a couch when suddenly there was a panic in the room. He was hurried out by people around him and later an explosion due to the strike was also seen.
While speaking to BBC radio, Ghebreyesus said that a heavy explosion was heard nearby and the sound was too loud and deafening. "Still my ear rings. It's more than 24 hours now...It was the departure lounge next to us that was hit, and later on the control tower," he said.
Israeli airstrikes targeted Sanaa's international airport and other locations in Yemen. Israel's military described the strikes as "military targets". Since December 19, this is the second such attack by Israel after rebels fired missiles.
Since the Israel-Hamas war, tensions with Houthis in Yemen escalated with both launching long-range missile attacks.
