Romi Gonen was a former Scouts counsellor. She and her friends were attending the Supernova music rave in the desert when Hamas militants captured her.
After the militants attacked the music event at 6.30 am on October 7, Romi was in touch with her mother Meirav Gonen all morning.
Romi tried to escape with her friends in a car but at 10.15 am, she told her mother that they were shot and all the occupants of the car were bleeding.
The authorities later recovered the car but it was empty. Romi's phone location was later traced to Gaza.
The two other women released on Sunday were Doron Steinbrecher, 31, and Emily Damari, 27.
The remaining seven women in Hamas custody will be released in the following weeks. They were identified as Shiri Silberman Bibas, 33, Arbel Yehud, 29, Agam Berger, 21, Danielle Giboa, 20, Karina Ariev, 20, Naama Levy, 20, and Liri Albag, 19. Two children, Ariel Bibas, 5, and Kfir Bibas, 2, will also be released as part of the truce.
