The Arab Health 2025 exhibition, celebrating its 50th anniversary, was launched with a grand opening at the Dubai World Trade Centre on January 27, 2025. Themed "Where the World of Healthcare Meets," the event brings together healthcare professionals, industry leaders, and innovators from over 180 countries, showcasing the latest advancements in medical technology and services.

The event hosts over 40 country pavilions, including major participants such as China, India, the United States, and the United Kingdom. Morocco and Latvia made their pavilion debut this year, while long-standing participants like Saudi Arabia and the UK have expanded their presence with additional floor space.

During the Arab Health 2025 exhibition, several significant partnerships and tie-ups were announced. Yuwell Medical and Inogen unveiled a strategic investment and partnership, aiming to enhance medical device solutions in the respiratory health sector. Pharmexcil renewed its commitment to strengthen the strategic partnership between India and the UAE in pharmaceuticals, showcasing India's excellence in this field. Emirates Health Services (EHS) revealed 13 pioneering projects focusing on family-centric healthcare, mental health innovation, digital health, artificial intelligence, and sustainability, alongside signing 12 MOUs and strategic agreements with local and global stakeholders. These collaborations highlight the innovative projects and collaborative efforts driving the healthcare industry forward at Arab Health 2025.

Other major highlights of Arab Health’s 50th edition include the debut of the World of Wellness and Healthcare ESG conferences, the Smart Hospital and Interoperability Zone, and the Transformation Zone with talks, product showcases, a start-up competition, and a focus on AI's role in transforming healthcare. The event is backed by key government entities, including the UAE Ministry of Health and Prevention, the Dubai Health Authority, the Department of Health, and the Dubai Healthcare City Authority.

Arab Health is the Middle East's largest and most influential healthcare event. It has underscored its importance to the Dubai economy, contributing USD 269.7 million in 2024. This economic impact has boosted key sectors, including tourism, hospitality, logistics, and healthcare investments. According to data revealed by Informa, Arab Health last year welcomed over 58,000 visitors and hosted more than 3,600 exhibitors from 180 countries during the 2024 edition, generating in excess of USD 56.2 million in accommodation spending, with an average room night stay of 5.7 nights for all participants. The total F&B spend equated to more than USD 24.5 million.

The economic impact projections for 2026 – 2028 are over USD 1.2 billion, with accommodation totals expected to exceed USD 341.6 million during the forecast period.

What began 50 years ago with just 40 exhibitors has grown into a global healthcare powerhouse, with this year’s event expected to draw more than 3,800 exhibitors and over 60,000 visitors. First-time international exhibitors, including Daigo, Fapomed, Global Medical Technology, Global Pharma Healthcare, Levity Products, and Mark Ortho Care, will also be welcomed this year.

The Association of British HealthTech Industries (ABHI) will once again participate in the event with a delegation of UK HealthTech businesses, hospital groups, regional accelerators, government partners, and healthcare leaders. "ABHI runs a portfolio of UK pavilions at over 15 key global trade shows, but none match the scale and significance of Arab Health," said Michelle Michelucci, Head of International Events for ABHI.

Ross Williams, Group Event Director at Informa Markets, highlighted that Arab Health has grown from a regional exhibition to an essential international event over the last five decades. "With the anticipated market growth, Arab Health plays a crucial role in facilitating global business and addressing the latest healthcare trends," he said. "With participants from over 180 countries, the 2025 edition underscores its role in fostering global collaboration and innovation. Arab Health connects ideas, technologies, and people, shaping the future of healthcare."
