Rahul Dravid turned 46 on Friday and social media was aflutter with wishes and tweets in praise of the The Wall of Indian cricket.
One of India's best and most grounded cricketers, Dravid has scored 24,208 international runs, which includes 48 centuries and 146 fifties.
After a subdued ODI debut in 1996, Dravid went on to hit many match-winning knocks for India in both Test cricket and ODIs that led to him being named Mr Dependable. He has played 146 Test matches for India and scored 13,288 runs at an average of 52.31. In ODIs, Dravid played 344 matches and amassed 10,889 runs.
Dravid retired from international cricket in 2012, and is currently the coach of the India Under 19 and India A teams. Under him, the Indian team lifted the U-19 World Cup in early 2018.
