The Mumbai Indians will play against Sunrisers Hyderabad in the 19th match of the ongoing IPL season in Hyderabad on Saturday.

Both sides have played four game each, with Mumbai Indians losing two and winning two of their games. The Sunrisers Hyderabad currently lead the IPL points table on account of their superior net run rate despite having the same number of points (six) as the Chennai Super Kings, Kings XI Punjab and Kolkata Knight Riders.

The Mumbai Indians have been considered 'slow starters' in past editions of the IPL, given their tendency to lose matches in the beginning stages. However, their start has been relatively better in this season, with their 37 run win over the Chennai Super Kings on April 3 being the highlight so far. It was the first defeat in four matches for the Chennai Super Kings. However, the Mumbai Indians received bad news after the match as veteran pace bowler Lasith Malinga returned to Sri Lanka for a domestic tournament. Malinga is the highest wicket-taker in the IPL.

While Sunrisers Hyderabad had won plaudits for their all-round bowling performance in last year's IPL, this year, their opening batsmen have hogged the limelight. Jonny Bairstow and David Warner have put on partnerships of 118, 110, 185 and 64 for the first wicket, leaving little for the middle order to do. New Zealand batsman Kane Williamson is set to return to the Sunrisers Hyderabad side after missing three games due to a shoulder injury.

The Mumbai Indians-Sunrisers Hyderabad match at Hyderabad is scheduled to start at 8pm.
