Rumours of affairs between cricketers and filmstars are as old as the sport in India. The latest in the rounds is that India's star bowler Jasprit Bumrah is dating Premam fame Anupama Parameswaran. Rumours were rife after Anupama and Bumrah commented on each other’s social media posts.

However, putting all speculations to rest, Anupama Parameswaran has refuted the reports and has said that they are only good friends and they are not dating each other, according to Pinkvilla.
Anupama is a popular South Indian actress who debuted with Nivin Pauly in the Malayalam movie Premam. She went on to do a number of Telugu movies, including Sathamanam Bhavati, Natasaarvabhowma and Vunnadhi Okate Zindagi.
Bumrah is currently busy in England with the ICC World Cup. Virat Kohli-led Team India has reached the semis and is set to meet New Zealand on Tuesday in the first semifinal.
Earlier, Bumrah was rumoured to be dating Raashi Khanna, another South Indian actress. Raashi had denied such rumours saying, "I know that Bumrah is an Indian cricketer, that's it.”
