India, who concluded the two-match US leg of the series by taking an unassailable 2-0 lead, rested vice-captain Rohit Sharma, Ravindra Jadeja and Khaleel Ahmed, bringing in K.L. Rahul, and handing debut to leg-spinner Rahul Chahar and pacer Deepak Chahar.

West Indies replaced all-rounder Khary Pierre with another all-rounder Fabian Allen.
