Indian all-rounder Hardik Pandya underwent a "successful" surgery to treat his lower back issue due to which he was rested for the Tests series against South Africa. Posting a picture from the hospital, Pandya captioned: “Extremely grateful to everyone for your wishes ❣️ Will be back in no time! Till then miss me.”
The BCCI retweeted the photograph, captioning it: “Wishing you speedy recovery.”

Hardik has been troubled by the injury for quite a while now, and he underwent surgery in London. He was injured in the Asia Cup last year in the clash against Pakistan when he fell at the crease. He had recovered well to participate in the World Cup but complained of discomfort after the South Africa T20Is.
