Putting an end to speculations, tennis star Sania Mirza confirmed that her sister, Anam Mirza, is set to get married to Asad, son of former Indian cricket team captain Mohammad Azharuddin.
According to media reports, Sania revealed that her sister will get married in December. "We just came back from her bachelorette trip in Paris. We are really excited. She is marrying a lovely boy. His name is Asad and he happens to be the son of Mohammad Azharuddin and we are really excited about it," Times of India quoted her as saying.
Anam Mirza, a fashion stylist, had recently took to Instagram to share pictures of herself wearing a sash that read 'Bride-to-be'. The posts have sparked rumours she might soon be making it official with boyfriend Mohammad Asaduddin.
Both Asad and Anam have been sharing pictures of each other on Instagram although they hadn't yet officially admitted their relationship.
Filmmaker Farah Khan had also shared a photograph with the Mirza sisters and referred to Anam as the bride-to-be.
