India's Rahul K. Raju, nicknamed 'The Kerala Krusher' registered an impressive victory against Pakistan's Furqan Cheema in the 'One: Edge of Greatness' mixed martial arts match in Singapore Indoor Stadium on Saturday.
Raju went for an all-around attack and also used his impressive takedowns to bring down his Pakistani counterpart in round two of the match. Cheema, nicknamed 'The Lion', stood no chance against the Indian in a match that began slow as Raju forced him to tap after bringing him to a rear naked choke.
In the first round, the referee was forced to stop the match for a while after Cheema grabbed the ropes of the ring. 'The Lion' was cornered by the Indian in the second round where he got him into the chockhold and later on to submission.
