True sportsman spirit was showcased at a Mzansi Super League, a premier Twenty20 cricket tournament in South Africa, on Sunday.

During a match between Nelson Mandela Bay Giants and Paarl Rocks, bowler Isuru Udana refused to run out an injured batsman.

Nelson Mandela Bay Giants, who were chasing, needed 24 runs from eight balls. Former South Africa batsman Heino Kuhn was on the crease and Marco Marais on the non-striker's end.

Kuhn went for a big one, but the ball hit Marais and he fell down. Udana had a chance to dismiss Marais, but he refused to do so. Instead, he allowed Marais to get up and get back to the crease.

The incident has gone viral, with many on Twitter praising the sportsman spirit evinced by the bowler.

Udana's refusal to run out Marais didn't prove costly for Paarl Rocks as they managed to win the match.
