Former India captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni may have been out of action since the team's untimely exit from the 2019 World Cup, but he has been keeping up appearances. In the latest video to feature Dhoni on some downtime, the wicket-keeper batsman is seen putting his skills to make delicious pani puris to use.
The video, shared on Twitter by the account MS Dhoni Fans Official, shows Dhoni behind a pani puri counter at an event reportedly in Maldives and serving the delectable snack to his former teammates R.P. Singh and Piyush Chawla. Dhoni is seen taking his own sweet time to perfect the pani puri he is preparing, meticulously adding the necessary ingredients, including the stuffing, chutneys and masalas. The cricketer is then seen placing the snack on Singh's plate and the former pacer thanks Dhoni. Singh was recently appointed as a member of the Cricket Advisory Committee of the BCCI.

M.S. Dhoni has not played competitive cricket since India was defeated by New Zealand in the semifinal of last year's ICC World Cup. He has been on sabbatical from the sport, but underwent a two-month training with the Indian Army's Parachute Regiment. Dhoni has an honorary rank of Lieutenant Colonel in the Territorial Army unit of the Parachute Regiment (106 Para TA battalion).
In January, he was dropped from BCCI's centrally contracted players' list.
