Mike Tyson, one of the biggest names in the boxing world, is stuck at home during the COVID-19 lockdown, like everyone else. However, he is making sure that he stays active and, at the same time, posts some entertaining content on his dog’s Instagram page.

Tyson, who retired from boxing in 2006 after a career that spanned nearly 20 years and 50 wins, created an Instagram account for his dog Mars Tyson recently after people were asked to go into self-isolation in view of the coronavirus pandemic.

The 53-year-old boxer showed that he’s still got it while taking on Mars in his kitchen in a light-hearted boxing session during quarantine. The video of them “sparring” has now gone viral.

The former heavyweight champion showcased some slick moves, throwing quick punches in the air and ducking as Mars jumped about as Tyson demonstrated his infamous peek-a-boo boxing style. Mars eventually decided it’s best to leave in one piece. His Instagram page captioned it ‘I went easy on him…’.

Fans of the boxer admired his moves, commenting that he was ‘still the champ’. Mars Tyson also became an instant hit with the fans. They also appreciated Tyson and his dog for entertaining them during isolation as millions have been advised to stay at home during the COVID-19 outbreak to prevent the spread of the infection.

The global COVID-19 pandemic has forced many countries to enforce a complete or partial lockdown. Over 382,000 have tested positive for the coronavirus, with more than 16,500 dead.
