Neymar’s mom’s boyfriend admitted to hospital, couple quizzed by cops

Neymar’s mom’s boyfriend Tiago Ramos was admitted to the hospital following serious injuries to his arm. The couple were later questioned by Brazilian police following the incident. According to the Brazilian media Nadine Goncalves had called for an ambulance after Ramos suffered an injury during a reported row in the couples’ apartment in Santos. 

Neymar’s mom Nadine Goncalves and 23-year-old boyfriend Tiago Ramos had started dating in April before calling it off a short while later. Their dating news had gone viral on social media with many ridiculing their age difference. Some had even taken jibes at Neymar after he voiced his support to the relationship. The couple had split for a brief while following the revelation of Ramos’ homosexual past. Ramos is also facing allegations of domestic assault from a previous relationship.

“There was a domestic accident with Tiago. Nadine thought it best to call for an ambulance as a precaution but they are fine. Everything is fine,” said Nadine’s spokesperson. There have been unconfirmed reports that Ramos was admitted following an argument. A neighbour was reported to have claimed that Nadine and Tiago had an argument during the night he was injured. He was reported to have punched through a window. Neymar’s spokesperson however clarified that there was no assault and that it was just a domestic accident.
