Ever since Jasprit Bumrah was released for 'private reason' from the India squad ahead of the fourth Test against England, there have been reports that the pacer had taken a break from the game because of his impending wedding.
Though neither the player nor the BCCI has confirmed it officially, there are reports that Bumrah will be marrying sports presenter and TV personality Sanjana Ganesan on March 14-15 in Goa.
Despite no offical word, social media is abuzz about the highly-anticipated event. In fact, an old tweet by Ganesan on Bumrah has gone viral now. Retweeting a post by ESPNcricinfo which showed a collage of gestures by Bumrah during a Test match between India and Australia, Ganesan had written: “Jasprit Bumrah’s on-field moods & my daily mood swings look exactly alike. #AUSvIND

The 2014 Miss India finalist has hosted shows with Star Sports during the Indian Premier League (IPL). The 28-year-old has also worked as a presenter on the Premier Badminton League as well.
Ganesan has worked as a model, too, and made her TV debut with MTV Splitsvilla 7, before joining Star Sports as a presenter. She had co-hosted Star Sports’s popular show Match Point and Cheeky Singles as part of the 2019 World Cup coverage. She has also presented shows for the Kolkata Knight Riders, named ‘The Knight Club’ where KKR fans interacted and talked about the team.
