Rajasthan Royals’ English player Jos Buttler is in full-on preparation mode for the upcoming Indian Premier League, which will commence on Friday. The franchise will play their first match in the 2021 IPL on Sunday against Punjab Kings in Mumbai.

As players who have completed their quarantine get back to training and hit the nets, those who are still in quarantine have come up with innovative and fun ways to keep themselves in shape. Enter Jos Buttler with his adorable daughter Georgia.

The Royals on Tuesday took to Instagram to share a video of the England wicket-keeper batsman working out in his hotel room, along with the toddler who tries to keep up with her dad. The video clip shows Buttler holding his daughter while doing sit-ups. The duo is also seen doing push-ups and other exercises with resistant bands.

Rajasthan Royals captioned the video, “BRB, melting” with the heart-eyes and crying emojis. Same, RR. Same.

Buttler, who managed only 328 runs from 13 outings in last year’s IPL staged in the UAE, will look to make an impact and display an impressive show this time with Rajasthan Royals, which finished at the bottom of the points table in 2020.

Ahead of the start of the 14th edition of the IPL, the rising number of COVID-19 cases in India have cast a shadow on the tournament. However, Board of Control for Cricket in India chief Sourav Ganguly has assured that IPL would go on as scheduled.

The IPL is set to begin on Friday with defending champion Mumbai Indians taking on Royal Challengers Bangalore in Chennai.
