The wedding party of Australian all-rounder Glenn Maxwell, who plays for Royal Challengers Bangalore in the Indian Premier League, turned out to be a fun-filled affair, with his teammates joining in, in the celebrations.
Maxwell got married to his long-time girlfriend Vini Ramani in March this year, before the IPL started. The wedding party, however, was hosted in a bio-bubble at Taj Lands End, Mumbai on Wednesday evening.
Maxwell's RCB teammates, all dressed in traditional attire, were seen having a gala time at the party. But, it was Virat Kohli’s dance with Mohammad Siraj and Siddharth Kaul that stole the show, and went viral on social media.
The RCB posted the video on their official YouTube channel on Friday.
Indian-born Australian Vini Raman is a pharmacist based in Melbourne. Maxwell and Raman met in 2013 and dated for three years from 2017 before getting engaged in 2020. They were to get married shortly after but their wedding plans were put on hold because of the Covid-19 pandemic.
RCB started the tournament on a strong note, winning five of their last seven games. However, their hopes of reaching the playoffs have suffered a major blow after losing to Sunrisers Hyderabad and Rajasthan Royals in the last two matches.
