Bangladesh skipper Shakib Al Hasan won the toss and elected to bowl against India in the significant match for the semi-final berth at the T20 World Cup on Wednesday. The outcome of the match will decide whether or not the Men in Blue get to stay in the tournament.

Spin-bowling all-rounder Axar Patel replaced Deepak Hooda in the Indian playing XI while Soumya Sarkar made way for Shoriful Islam for Bangladesh. Both teams made one change each.

Veteran wicketkeeper-batter Dinesh Karthik recovered from his injury sustained during the match against South Africa to retain his place in the side, prolonging Rishabh Pant's wait.
