Virat Kohli was on Saturday forced to leave the field during India's ICC ODI World Cup clash against arch-rivals Pakistan in Gujarat after the ace batter, inadvertently, wore the wrong jersey.
Realising the mistake, Virat Kohli left the field in the seventh over of Pak's innings and returned before the eighth over began.
Virat Kohli started the match wearing a jersey with plain white stripes on the shoulders instead of the shirt that has the tri-coloured stripes on it. While the normal Indian jersey has three white stripes, a special one has been made for the World Cup with the tri-coloured stripes on the shoulder.
Earlier, captain Rohit Sharma won the toss and elected to bowl first in the big game. His bowlers fired in unison to dismiss Pakistan for 191 in 42.5 overs.
The fast-bowling trio of Jaspirt Bumrah, Mohammed Siraj and Hardik Pandya took a couple of wickets each.
Skipper Babar Azam top-scored for Pakistan with 50 off 58 balls while Mohammad Rizwan made 49 off 69 balls.
Both India and Pakistan entered the match with two successive wins under their belt from as many outings.
