In a dramatic comeback, Jude Bellingham scored a brace to help Real Madrid come from behind to beat archrivals Barcelona 2-1 in a La Liga 'El Clasico' on Saturday.
English talent Bellingham, Real Madrid's top scorer of the season fired twice in the second half after Barcelona took the lead through Ilkay Gundogan in the sixth minute of the game. The German Gundogan beat Kepa from close range after taking advantage of a defensive mistake by the league leaders.
However, Barca were punished for failing to convert their dominance into goals as Bellingham made the most of the two chances he had in the second half. First he unleashed an unstoppable strike from range into the upper left corner in the 68th minute and then, in stoppage time, he scored the winner after collecting a Luka Modric pass inside the box.
Real Madrid are top of the standings on 28 points, level with Girona. Barca are third on 24.
