Katrina Kaif and Salman Khan, stars of Tiger 3 are at Motera, Ahmedabad, to cheer the Men in Blue. The stars wished Team India all the best. Speaking to Harbhajan Singh and Mohammad Kaif, Salman Khan said, “Bas dua karta hoon ki aisa margin se maare ki maza hi aa jaye (I only pray that India defeats by a large margin)."
Katrina said, “Definitely, I think Tiger 3 has been lucky for us and this is going to be, fingers crossed, India's third World Cup. And I think we are just waiting for them to lift that trophy finally."
In an earlier interview with PTI she said, “I'm cheering for Team India, they have played phenomenally well. This entire World Cup has been such a delight to watch. Of course, Virat (Kohli) also, and Anushka (Sharma) is my neighbour, so I'm even more happy to see that... I'm cheering them on and I'm sure Team India is going to be phenomenal.” India entered the final after beating New Zealand in the semifinal in Mumbai's Wankhede Stadium on Wednesday.
Katrina's latest film, Tiger 3 has emerged as a box office success. The movie, directed by Maneesh Sharma grossed Rs 100 crore in two days.
