Tennis star Sania Mirza, in a cryptic post, has triggered divorce rumours. Mirza got married to Pakistani ace cricketer Shoaib Malik in 2010, the couple have a son named Izhaan. In an Instagram post, she wrote, "Marriage is hard. Divorce is hard. Choose your hard. Obesity is hard. Being fit is hard. Choose your hard. Being in debt is hard. Being financially disciplined is hard. Choose your hard. Communication is hard. Not communicating is hard. Choose your hard. Life will never be easy. It will always be hard. But we can choose our hard. Pick wisely."
The post was first shared by an account called 'Healing Out Loud'. This, however, has led to speculations that the couple's relationship might be in trouble. Mirza also deleted all images of Shoaib Malik from her account. The only image with him is of the couple with their son at a swimming competition.
Shoaib Malik altered his Instagram bio. His bio formerly read, 'Proud husband to @mirzasaniar' He too, has deleted Mirza's images from his profile. The cricketer is, reportedly having an affair with model and actress Ayesha Omar since 2021, ever since the duo did a photo shoot together.
Malik, at a press conference in June 2023, had quashed divorce rumours, stating that they don't get time to live together due to their work commitments.
