Injury-ravaged Premier League leaders Liverpool suffered another setback during Sunday's English League Cup final against Chelsea. Midfielder Ryan Gravenberch was stretchered off in the first half after he was brought down by an untidy challenge by Chelsea's Moises Caicedo.
The Wembley Stadium witnessed a pause of play after Gravenberch failed to get up after being felled by the Ecuadurian's challenge. Replays showed Caicedo was nowhere near the ball as the Dutchman passed it to Cody Gapko and stomped heavily on Gravenberch's left leg.
Just a reminder that this was not a yellow card or red card. Gravenberch was taken out in a stretcher.

After initial checks, the medical staff and referee signalled for a stretcher to get the 21-year-old off the pitch.
