With Aquib Ilyas named as the new captain for the ICC T20 World Cup 2024, Team Oman is getting all set to give their best performance. This will be Oman's third appearance in the T20 World Cup and they are pooled in Group B alongside defending champions England as well as former winners Australia. Namibia and Scotland are the other members of the group. 

Oman could emerge as the dark horses of the groups who could end up giving a tough fight to the well-established opponents. The squad is full of talent with former skipper Zeeshan Maqsood joining the team along with batting all-rounder Mohammed Nadeem. A perfect blend of experience and youth, this Oman squad could certainly surprise opponents as well as cricket fans during this T20 World Cup, 2024.
